Now it’s time for Drunk Blogging Day 2010! January 2, 2010! The rules are the same, the concept is the same, only the date has changed.
The first NaDruBloDa was December 29, 2006. It was created in response to a statement made by Northern Girl ,”We should have a drunk blogging day, because there’s a day for every single thing else.” What more could we ask for than that?
With NaNoMoWriMo and PoPoWriBloMo and NoMoBloPePo and all those other Writing Events happening in Bloglandia, we wanted to create one that lacked all the serious intention of everything thing else out there.
Thus, a Cut Loose and Release event inviting everyone to see what happens when you mix booze and computers and creativity.
Since the last event was an after-Christmas deal, this one is a Mid-August When No Other Interesting Family Oriented Thing Is Happening deal. Even tho it has been postulated that it should be a once a month event, or even a week-long event, we’re sticking to one day. Because, if something happens all the time, it’s no longer special.
